Future utility vehicle.
NEXO is the name of Hyundai’s all-new, dedicated Fuel Cell EV. It’s the technological flagship of Hyundai’s growing eco-vehicle portfolio; built on a newly developed and dedicated vehicle platform. It combines the practicality of an SUV with clean, advanced fuel cell technology and advanced autonomous driving features.
“Hydrogen energy is the key to building a more sustainable society. Hyundai Motor Company has already taken a lead in hydrogen technology with the introduction of the ix35 Fuel Cell,” said Dr. Woong-chul Yang, Vice Chairman, Hyundai Motor Company.
More about our upcoming cars
At specialist design centres in Europe, Asia and America, Hyundai engineers constantly develop new ways to make your journeys more enjoyable, whether you’re an active family, city slicker, or have particular motability requirements.
The models shown here are just a few of our upcoming releases, so if your perfect car isn’t already in our range, you won’t have long to wait long.
Hyundai SUV cars:
Family road trips needn’t feel cramped and stuffy; SUVs offer more space, versatility and control than any other vehicle on the road. Hyundai has a broad range of modern SUVs from the stylish all-new KONA, to the larger Tucson and Santa Fe.
If you like to spend your family time in more challenging conditions, having optional four wheel drive on each model within the Hyundai SUV range might offer what you’re looking for. SUVs are perfectly suited to larger families as well – the Santa Fe comes with 5 or 7 seat variants.
Hyundai alternative fuel cars:
Hyundai Motor is at the forefront of eco mobility, already offering the broadest range of powertrains. Hyundai marketed the first mass-produced fuel cell vehicle, the ix35, and recently introduced its successor, the NEXO. Furthermore, the successful IONIQ is the only car available with three different electrified powertrains in one body type.
The NEXO will spearhead Hyundai Motor’s plans to accelerate development of low emission vehicles, in line with Hyundai Motor Group’s renewed goal of introducing 18 eco-friendly models to global markets by 2025. This new development roadmap also represents the next step for Hyundai Motor towards realising the ultimate ambition of creating a cleaner environment through eco-friendly vehicles.
