FCA is an active safety feature that alerts drivers to emergency situations, braking automatically if required. Using the front multi-function camera, FCA operates in three stages. Initially warning the driver visually and acoustically, it controls the brake according to the collision danger level, and applies maximum braking force to avoid a collision or minimise damage when a collision is unavoidable. The system is active at speeds of 10 km/h or higher and senses vehicles and pedestrians.
The multi-function camera monitors the distance between your car and the vehicle in front. It provides visual and audible alerts if the risk of collision is detected.
