The large 10.25" touch screen is the nerve centre of the IONIQ Plug-in Hybrid, providing navigation, media and driving information. Connectivity is provided by Apple CarPlayTM, AndroidTM Auto plus connections from two separate Bluetooth® devices can be made at once. Voice recognition can also read and send SMS messages.
The high resolution 7 inch TFT supervision cluster displays key driving and energy flow information and features different colour schemes according to driving mode.
Whilst plugged in, you can schedule your charging so electricity
usage is more efficient and your car is fully charged for when you need it.
Did you forget to lock your car? Don’t worry, the Bluelink app will
alert you. After entering your PIN, you can lock or unlock your IONIQ
Plug-in Hybrid remotely.
Use the Bluelink app to search for destinations while outside of your
vehicle. Bluelink then syncs with your navigation system, loading the
r oute so that it is ready to go when you are.
For more peace of mind, you can run vehicle diagnostics directly from the
10.25” touchscreen or check on vehicle health using the Bluelink app.
Forgot where you parked? Just open the Bluelink app and the map
will guide you there.

When used as a conventional hybrid electric vehicle, a computer selectively
operates between the engine and the electric motor – or even both at the same time –
depending on the level of power required to travel.
When it’s operating in electric mode, the vehicle is driven only using the electric motor
until the charge from the high voltage battery becomes too low, at which point it reverts
to the hybrid mode automatically.
Pure electric mode gives you up to 39 miles of zero tailpipe emissions,
depending on your driving style and road conditions
The combined output of the 1.6 litre engine and electric motor can reach a
capable 141PS. They also operate independently as conditions require.
The transition between pure electric, hybrid and petrol-only
driving modes are seamless.
Hyundai’s 6-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) provides rapid
feedback for a sporty and efficient driving experience.

Just pre-set your destination on the navigation system and ECO-DAS notifies you in advance when deceleration is expected, thus minimising braking and reducing fuel consumption
The IONIQ Plug-in Hybrid navigation system also provides guidance to the most convenient charging stations along your preferred route.

This warns drivers that they are potentially drifting out of lane. A camera mounted in the
windscreen recognises lane markings. If the vehicle starts to drift over the lane markings,
without a turn signal being applied, it activates a visual and audible alert for the driver.
The system available on Premium SE models informs the driver of vehicles in the blind spot
and passing cars. It keeps the driver informed of cars that are following and potentially
passing, but may be in a hard-to-see blind spot that can’t be easily viewed using the rear
view mirror or wing mirrors. It informs drivers with a graphic in the wing mirror.
This system helps you avoid accidents. On detecting the risk of a collision with a pedestrian,
cyclist or another vehicle it initially gives a visual and aural warning to the driver,
before automatically applying the brakes according to the degree of danger.
The system makes driving easier and safer. It uses the front-mounted radar sensor to
monitor vehicles ahead and automatically maintains a pre-set speed and safe distance to
the vehicle in front by regulating the throttle and applying the brakes when needed up until
the traffic comes to a stop.
In the event that airbags are deployed, eCall will automatically contact an emergency
assistance call centre where the operator can assess the situation and contact the
relevant services, if required. There is also an eCall button which can be manually
pressed for assistance.
