After the successful launch of the highly acclaimed i30 N performance hatchback, Hyundai’s N Division is continuing its shake-up of the performance car world with the N Line range - starting from £20,220.
N Line strikes the perfect balance between the i30’s class-leading comfort and technology and the i30 N’s track inspired design. Easily identified, i30 N Line models feature distinctive front and rear bumpers, a twin exhaust pipe, plus N Line badged steering wheel, gear knob and sports seats.
For increased driving enjoyment, i30 N Line 1.4 T-GDi models also deliver enhanced performance capabilities thanks to a finely-tuned suspension setup, larger front brakes and 18” alloy wheels with performance tyres.

A unique N Line version of Hyundai’s cascading grille sits atop the i30 N’s aggressive front bumper with a distinctive silver character line.
One look is all it takes to see the motorsport roots of the new i30 N Line 5-door. The 18” alloy wheels (17" on 1.0 T-GDi models) and performance tyres create a dynamic stance and delivering fantastic road handling. Enlarged front brakes further enhance the sporty character.
On the side, the sleek N Line emblem and black side mirrors set the new i30 N Line 5-door apart from the crowd.
The standard LED rear combination lights are in perfect harmony with the sculpted side character line, highlighting the distinctive rear design.
The sporty twin chrome exhaust pipes show the N Line sporty character.

Two interior colour schemes have been developed especially for the i30.
The i30 can analyse a wide range of inputs including changes to steering angle, steering torque, position in traffic lane and driving time. If the system recognises symptoms of driver fatigue it immediately provides a visual and acoustic message to alert to the driver.
The display unit sits higher in the driver’s eyeline for better ergonomics and usability. On S models, it’s a 3.8” monochrome screen, with an 8” colour touchscreen on SE trim. From SE Nav upwards, an 8” colour touchscreen including navigation is fitted (shown).
With air conditioning as standard and dual-zone climate control fitted on Premium upwards (shown) and available with the optional Visibility pack on SE Nav, the controls have been refined to be simple to use, with dials that are easier to operate on the go.
Bluetooth® lets you stay connected to work and family and enjoy music, while keeping focused on the road. On SE Nav upwards – Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto ™ give you the ability to use selected apps on compatible phones, creating a seamless transition between life in and out of your car. The specially developed 7-DCT gearbox adds an extra dynamic accent with optimised fuel efficiency. Shifting between gears is extremely fast, smooth and enjoyable. 3 selectable drive modes are available, Normal, Eco and Sport.
The driver and front passenger seats are heated on Premium upwards. The electric powered driver’s seat with 10-way adjustment is also fitted on Premium upwards, ensuring it can be perfectly positioned for different drivers.

The ball-type gearshift features sporty metal accents and leather inserts for better grip and more motorsport feeling. Perfectly designed for quick shifts.
Front-mounted camera systems scan the road ahead for preceding vehicles. AEB automatically initiates emergency braking to minimize the chances of a serious crash, or reduce its consequences.
FCWS uses the front camera to detect the potential for any frontal collision and alert the driver of the danger. AEB initiates emergency braking to avoid or minimise the effects of any such collision.
Maintains a set distance to the preceding vehicle, automatically reducing or increasing speed up to a pre-set limit.In “stop & go” traffic, the pre-determined distance is maintained by ASCC after coming to a standstill, automatically restarting the motor when forward movement ahead is detected.
The system contributes to active safety by avoiding unintentional lane departures caused by driver distractions. LKAS warns the driver acoustically and visually before inducing a corrective steering force.
Sensors mounted in the rear bumper detect the proximity of any vehicle obscured in the blind spot and trigger a warning light in the relevant door mirror. An acoustic signal immediately sounds if a turn signal is activated when a vehicle is detected in the blind spot.
The 1.0 T-GDI is a downsized turbocharged petrol engine with 120 PS and 171.1 Nm at 1,500 ~ 4,000 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and features Intelligent Stop and Go (ISG) which cuts out the engine when stopped and restarts it when pressing the accelerator, improving efficiency.
For a dynamic and responsive drive, the newly developed 1.4 T-GDI, delivers a powerful 140 PS and 242 Nm torque at 1,500 rpm. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission and features Intelligent Stop and Go (ISG) which cuts out the engine when stopped and restarts it when pressing the accelerator, improving efficiency.
This turbocharged diesel engine produces 115 PS and is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or 7 speed DCT automatic. The manual transmission benefits from CO2 emissions of only 99 g/km. The engine also features Intelligent Stop and Go (ISG) which cuts out the engine when stopped and restarts it when pressing the accelerator, improving efficiency further.
