All our concept cars start life as a ‘what if?’ What if Hyundai fuel cell cars were accessible for everyone? What if the i30 was a new breed of high performance track car?

It’s the pursuit of these questions that informs the innovative new Hyundai models you’ll find at your local dealership. While our concept cars’ futuristic flourishes may seem far off, the spirit of ‘what if’ remains at the core of every Hyundai.

FE Fuel Cell

Fuelling the future.

The FE Fuel Cell concept hints at the next phase of Hyundai’s eco-vehicle programme. Inspired by water – the car’s only emission – the FE Fuel Cell’s lines flow and ripple around its futuristic silhouette. Unveiled at Geneva Motor Show 2017, the concept will closely inform a new hydrogen-powered SUV due to be released in 2018, followed by a further 14 environmentally-focused vehicles by 2020.

Hyundai RN30

Built for adrenaline.

The specialist motorsport team at Hyundai’s Namyang R&D Centre developed the RN30 concept to explore how Hyundai’s racing experience combined with new lightweight materials, could be applied to a road car. Debuted at the 2017 Paris Motor Show, the concept is the precursor to the i30 N – a high performance road car built on the i30 platform due to be released in late 2017.
