Anti-lock Brakes (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD)
Hyundai's state of the art Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) prevents the wheels locking up in an emergency braking situation. The Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) uses sensors to determine where the braking force needs to be distributed to meet the road conditions. Together these systems make braking more precise and effective whilst increasing stability under heavy braking.
Central locking
Central locking comes as standard for increased convenience and security. The Comfort and Style models both feature remote central locking.
Immobiliser
The i10's sophisticated immobiliser is Thatcham approved and uses a transponder-equipped key, antenna coil and engine management system (EMS) to ensure that only the original key can be used to start the car.
Body strength
A rigorously crash tested shell, including side impact bars, provides maximum protection for both driver and passengers.
