Safety
Despite its size, the Amica takes the question of safety extremely seriously. Power-assisted steering and Anti-lock brakes fitted as standard will help to prevent accidents, while the side impact bars, 2x3 point rear seatbelts with pre-tensioners and driver’s airbag ensure the highest levels of protection for you and your occupants.
Adjustable head restraints
The Amica features adjustable head restraints for maximum neck support, making your journey as comfortable as possible and minimising the chance of whiplash injuries in the event of a crash.
Anti-lock Brakes (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD)
Hyundai’s state of the art Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) prevents the wheels locking up in an emergency braking situation. The Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) uses sensors to determine where the braking force needs to be distributed to meet the road conditions. Together these systems make braking more precise and effective whilst increasing stability under heavy braking.
Body strength
A rigorously crash tested shell, including side impact bars, provides maximum protection for both driver and passengers.
Immobiliser
The Amica’s sophisticated immobiliser uses a transponder-equipped key, antenna coil and EMS to ensure that only the original key can be used to start the car.
Remote central locking
Remote central locking operated from a key fob comes as standard on CDX models, for increased convenience and security.
