Heated seats
The ix35 treats occupants to heated seats, both up front and also in the rear (outer rear seat bases only) – a feature few other than Hyundai would include as standard. -
Bluetooth® connectivity
Standard across the range, Bluetooth® with voice recognition means you can call home or work while on the road. You can also stream music wirelessly with a compatible device. -
Finding your way
The optional Media Pack available on Premium models adds satellite navigation, accessed through a large, clear touch screen and a clever rear view camera to make parking in tricky spaces easy. The audio also gets an upgrade from the standard 6 speakers to a premium setup of 7 speakers, amp and subwoofer.
DRIVING
2WD or 4WD
The ix35 is available in 2WD with the 1.6 GDi and 1.7 CRDi engines.
The 2.0 CRDi engine includes a torque on demand 4WD system.
This provides power to all wheels only when driving conditions require
it, resulting in greater efficiency than permanent 4WD.
Engines
The ix35 is available with a powerful yet efficient 1.6 litre GDi petrol engine delivering 136PS. The diesel engine range consists of a 1.7 litre CRDi 115 PS, a 2.0 litre CRDi 135PS and a more powerful 2.0 CRDi 183PS with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Efficient technologies
With advanced engineering to boost efficiency the ix35's 1.6 GDi engine is available with Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG), which switches the engine off and on seamlessly to save fuel when you've stopped in traffic or at lights.
Low emissions, lower cost
The ix35's advanced and economical 1.7 CRDi produces 139 g/km of CO2, which for
company car drivers means just 21% BIK tax. When combined with Intelligent Stop
and Go the 1.6 GDi petrol benefits from CO2 emissions as low as 149 g/km.

Towing
The ix35's all round ability means it's a capable towing vehicle too – up to 750kg unbraked, rising to 2,000kg braked with the 2.0 litre CRDi engine. Just hitch up a trailer with whatever you need for the weekend's adventure.
Easy hill starts
With the ix35 even hill starts are easy. Hill-start Assist Control cleverly stops the ix35 from rolling backwards as you pull away.
Downhill Brake Control
In the ix35 4WD models, you don't have to hold the brake when going down a steep incline offroad. Just activate Downhill Brake Control and the ix35 will descend at a gentle, controlled pace.

5 star safety
Comprehensive active and passive safety features give the ix35 a maximum 5* Euro NCAP score – so it's one of the safest cars in its class. The ix35 is also fitted with child seat anchors to the international ISOfix standard. So you'll have peace of mind, if not peace and quiet. The front passenger airbag can also be deactivated. -

Active safety
The ix35 is ready for anything, and so are its intelligent safety features. Anti-lock Brakes and Electronic Brake force Distribution enhance braking control, while Electronic Stability Programme can also apply subtle adjustments to the throttle to keep you in control. -

Front, side and curtain airbags protect both front and rear passengers in the event of a collision.

Price quoted is applicable to vehicles first registered on or after 1st March 2013. Time and mileage restrictions apply. Please ask your dealer for full terms and conditions. Fixed Price Service Plan must be purchased before the vehicles first scheduled service. The Hyundai Fixed Price Service Plan (3 years/30,000 miles) covers the cost of the parts, lubricants and labour involved for the first 3 services. The Hyundai Fixed Price Service Plan (5 years/50,000 miles) covers the cost of the parts, lubricants and labour involved for the first 5 services. VAT at a rate of 20% is included in the purchase price. Servicing conducted under The Hyundai Fixed Price Service Plan must be carried out in line with Hyundai Motors UK’s time and mileage recommendations at any participating Hyundai Dealer or Hyundai Authorised Repairer within the UK. Service due dates are taken from the First Date of Registration of the vehicle.
