2007
Hyundai produces the most segment leaders of any automotive manufacturer, according to Strategic Vision's Total Quality Index (TQI), which measures total vehicle satisfaction among new car owners. Achieving the top slot in three distinct vehicle segments is a first for Hyundai.
The Santa Fe is voted 'Best Buy 4x4 under £30,000' at the What Car? 2007 Awards. This follows the success in the Daily Star's '4x4 Car of the Year' category, where the Santa Fe is placed ahead of the Fiat Sedici, Subaru's Impreza and Mercedes GL, by the newspaper's Motoring Editor.
2006
The Getz 1.5 CRTD wins the 'Transport for London Private Sector' Award at the 2006 GreenFleet Awards, and also fights off three hybrids, two bio diesel and another diesel to come second in the 'GreenFleet Capital Fuel Challenge', hosted by the London Borough of Camden.
JD Power's Initial Quality Study (IQS) announces that Hyundai is the highest ranked non-premium automotive brand, and is ranked third among all brands. It states that Hyundai owners experienced fewer problems with their vehicles than any other non-premium car or truck brand.
The Santa Fe wins the '4x4 Recreational Vehicle of the Year' category at the Auto Express New Car Honours.
2005
The Sonata captures one of Popular Mechanics magazine's inaugural Automotive Excellence awards, winning the safety category.
2004
Hyundai ranked 2nd in JD Power's Initial Quality Study - just one point off the industry leader.
2003
The Getz picks up What Car? magazine's 'Best Budget Car' award.
PriceWaterhouse Coopers and Automotive News present Hyundai with the Global Automotive Shareholder Value Award.
Hyundai ranked 7th in a brand loyalty survey of over 177,000 car owners (JD Power's 2003 Customer Retention Survey).

The Avante wins the Asia-Pacific Rally.
The Accent wins Canada's Best Buy Award.
1993
Australia votes the Elantra its Best Car.
1992
The Scoupe Turbo wins the Pike's Peak Hill Climb Rally.
Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Anti-lock brakes and Brake Assist Systems. You'll find them fitted in all Hyundai cars as standard.
